What is NDUW Yojana?

New Sarkari Yojana has been published, this Sarkari Yojana is called NDUW Portal which stands for National database of Unorganised workers.

These all things are conducted by the Ministry of Labour and the employment of India.

Through this portal, 43.7 crore workers working in Unorganised sectors in India have facilitated this service for totally free.

Here in this NDUW portal, every Unorganised Worker will be e will be issued an identity card that will be a Unique Identification number through registration in this portal.

Small and Marginal Farmers

Agricultural laborers

Share croppers

Firermen

Those engaged in animal

husbandry

Beedi rolling labeling and packing

Building and construction

Leather worker

Weavers

Carpenter

salt worker

Workers in Bricks Kilns and stone quarries

Workers in saw mills

Mildwives

Domestic workers

Barbers

Vagetable andfruit vendors

Newspaper vendors

Rickshaw pullers

auto driver

sericulture workers

carpernters

Tannery workers

common services centers

House maids

Street Vendors

MNGRA Workers

ASHA Workers

NDUW portal Benefits:

On the basis of this database social security schemes will be implemented by Ministries/Governments.

PM Suraksha Bhima Yojana

This database will help the government in policy & programs making for unorganized workers.

To track the movement of workers from the informal sector to the formal sector and vice-versa, their occupation, skill development, etc.

Also, to track migrant labor workforce & to provide them more employment.

Registered workers under NDUW can take PM Suraksha Bhima Yojana.

Premium of Rs. 12 will be waived off for 1 year.


Those workers really will who fulfill the below eligibility criteria:

Age should be from16-59 years

Should not be an income tax payee

Should not be a member of EPFO and ESIC

Must be working in unorganized workers categories 


Anybody engaged in the organized sector And the Organised sector consists of workers in the private or public sector that receive regular salaries, emoluments, and other benefits including leaves and social security in the form of provident funds and gratuity.

NDUW Registration and application process:

 VLE will visit the Digital Seva Portal(link)

Login with credentials & search eShram.(here in this window you can choose Username or enter Email id and set a password and fill the captcha and click sign up to continue in step 2)

It will redirect to the website. Click on REGISTER NEW UW.(in this window 4 options are available for registration new users to click register new UW option which are right side upper corner)

Enter beneficiary’s Aadhaar & validate him through biometric or OTP.(entre your aadhaar card Number and choose anyone of from fingerprint/IRIS/OTP)

Review aadhaar fetched details, check declaration & continue. ( you can review your aadhaar related information) 

Enter Personal Information & continue. ( here in this section you will fill in personal information like Mobile Number, Email, Marital status, Father Name, social category/ cast, Nominee details)

Enter Residential Information & continue.(fill proper residential information like address)

Enter Educational Qualification & continue. (select qualification level from the drop-down menu and upload income certificate

Enter Occupation details & continue.(Occupation details and skills)

Enter Bank details & continue.

Preview & tick the self-declaration.

Download & hand over UAN card to the beneficiary.
